PROUDLY SERVING THE YOUTH OF CHARLEROI FOR OVER 80 YEARS

Although we have a charter dating back to 1931, and there is some evidence that we go back to the teens, there was a time when the Troop disbanded to form a "Boys Brigade".  Because of this, our official tenure begins at 1939.  Up until the late 1970's, we were sponsored by The Charleroi First Christian Church.  Then St. Mary's Anglican Church took up our sponsorship.  We were at the Charleroi VFW for a bit, until the Charleroi Masonic Lodge offered us a room of our own.  Due to building issues, we are back at St. Mary's Anglican, where our Cub Pack also meets.  Throughout our history we have been Troop 3, 13, 131, and finally 1131.

Initial payments for Summer Camp will be due by the end of February

Escape Trip 2020

We are into plan B for our annual trip.  We were planning on going back to Boston to stay on the USS Massachusetts, but those plans got upended.  So we are off to visit Monticello, Mt. Vernon and the Bunker at the Greenbrier (where Congress was to be housed in case of an attack).  We are leaving on August 6 and will be back on the 9th.
Interested in Scouting?

If you are interested in joining, just stop down any Monday night  during our meeting.
